Triniprincess away for a week!
right?
How I did it: Firstly, I organised my list a bit better - it's now got "life goals" (like backpack through Europe, make a living from my creativity, etc.) grouped together, "ongoing" goals (get really good at origami, learn to paraglide, become fluent or semi-fluent in Mandarin, etc.) grouped together and "one-offs" (make love in the rain, build a fort in my living room, etc.) grouped together.I also cleared out the goals that were unrealistic, that I … Read how I did it…

I moved a few temporarily to the “I give up” section to be added back to my list at a later time. I edited a few to make them more specific. A few I should be able to complete relatively soon.

But I think that’s good for now.

I caught a cold & this goal was one of first put on hold. I have ordered & am waiting for the book, “My Best Year Yet.” The plan was to read it, make changes & align my goals. The plan remains the same. My New Year’s has changed, tho.
HAPPY GROUNDHOG’S DAY!!!!
I have changed my deadline for this goal to February 2, to give myself enough time to recover, read the book & do the work. January 1, the calendar new year would have been a great, traditional day. It just did not work for me this year. I could make random changes, but I want to put some time & effort in this. I have 2009 slated to be a pivotal year in my life. I am NOT letting a cold & an arbitrary deadline mess with my plans.

one of the major things I am doing now is removing goals, well actually throwing them into the “give up” pile for a while so that my list will consist of the things on which I am actively working.
It’s like clearing the desk of clutter so that you can better focus on the tasks at hand. Instead of having a bunch of goal idling here, I would much rather park them for a bit so I can be mouch more active.
So let’s bang out some goals!

this upcoming weekend. I’ve already eliminated a few and then there are about four to six goals that should be completed within the next week.
I definitely see a few that need to go. Not that I want to totally give up on them, but just put them aside and revisit them later. I have so many other goals right now that I would love to add that mean more to me.
We’ll see…
:-)
Having a case of the lazies. For examle I rode 5000 miles last year on bicycle. It was one of my more consuming goals. When I undertook it last year about this time I was excited and so gung ho to get r done… I think I burned myself out some in it’s accomplishing it. In thinking if I should accomplish it again I just sigh inside! I really am not excited about it anymore….
Need to do some thinking and planning.
Need some compelling and interesting goals!
I probably could have spent more time on this goal, but I like my new changes. I’ve cleared out some stagnant goals, added new ones and reordered everything. My list is still short and sweet, and I imagine that I’ll add new goals as I find things to focus on.
J is amazed.
There seems to be a problem – I don’t know how to order this list. Need to figure out my priorities – in relation to everything.

...but I need to ‘complete’ this goal in order to make room to add my final one!
I been through them all and considered what is still relevant for me and where I want to focus my energies in 2009.
I feel happy that I’ve got a balance between the big life changing stuff, the small practical stuff and the fun stuff!
Just going to re-order them next into loose categories/order to approach them. I can’t wait to get going!!
