Something I realised
I am a person of habit and scehdule. I thrive on schedule that I have to follow like school or work. When left to my own devices I don’t have the willpower to literally get out of bed in the morning. I can become bogged down in a procrastinatory routine easily, but if I do something I can get out of it quicker.
An example.
I am on a school break and for teh past 5 days of something I have gotton up at 1pm and spend the full day in my pj’s on the laptop. On the last day I had to go to a friends house for a hang out and it was ridicously difficult to do. Even walking there my head was in a wierd space. But by the end of that evening I was already making plans to go shopping and have people over. Result.

Something I have learned
Three small lessons from my life:
One: Respect goes two ways. Do not waste respect on those who do not respect you.
Two: Sometimes there will be people, in my case a teacher, who will go above and beyond the call of duty. They are the kind that you will remember for the rest of your life. The kind who, when you leave a class, you will not only have learned about their subject, but learned about life. Strive to be one of these people.
Three: Those who wear a smile are very likeable.

Something a friend told me
I can be bossy. In a suitation where no leader presents itself I will take the place of leader. In a suitation where a leader does present itselfs I will happily be a team player.

Something a friend told me
I am soft.
The man I respect the most, a teacher, told me this today. He told me to fight, fight to wake up, fight for myself.
And it’s true. I hadn’t noticed as such, that since learning to deal with my aniexty I pulled back from things, trying not to be invovled, not to risk failing.
I have been late something like 10 mornings in the last two months. So he suggested dentention and all I said was Yeah ok because I had suspected I’d get one. And then he turned to me and in a outburst said “No. You don’t just say yeah ok. Don’t accept it. Your soft Jen. Fight for yourself, fight to wake up!
And I know he meant more than just in the morning. I need to wake up and cop on to stop arsing around.

Something a friend told me.
When I am talking about a subject I am particulary interested in, I get really animated and into it.

Something I figured out about myself.
When I want to and am very determined to, I can be a excellant learner.
I can pick things up very quickly if I really wish to, and I can become engrossed and spend hours learning something without realising it. This is unusual for me because usually I dislike spending time at something.
Examples
I always wanted to go horse riding when I was young but my parents never let me because they taught it was dangerous. So I got my mam to buy me books and books of things about horses and riding. For about a year I read these books over and over again memorising eveyrthing because I thought it was the closest I would get to going horse riding. I believe I was around 9 or 10 at the time.
When I got to start riding after that year, it took my two one-hour lessons to master the walk and rising trot, something which usually takes months. I could name every bit of the horse and it’s tack. And I loved it.
And more recently I suddenly decided I wanted to teach myself some piano. I got the old keyboard down from the attic, engrossed myself in youtube videos and in four hours I could play the Introduction to “Unfaithful” by Rihanna.

Ways to do this.
Ask your friends, someone you trust to give you a honest answer, what their first impressions were of you. That way you can see what type of character you give off to those that don’t know you.
Figure out things about yourself. How you react, ect.
Ask people who know you to tell you something they like and something they don’t like about you.
