Be an Angel

How I did it: I just started caring about everyone's well being and things started falling into place when I did—I automatically started naturally doing things for others, always trying to help, etc. People perceive this attitude, somehow; even if you do not say it. People begin to confide in you, too, if your capacity to respect people's privacy and keep secrets actually shows too.

I have been told by more than one person that I do am an angel—it was hard to believe at first because I didn't at all think I was one—and it is a really sweet thing. I will continue forever striving to be more and more like an "angel," it is so nice to feel like you really are protecting those around you, and/or making their lives better in some way.

Lessons & tips: It is all about looking for the best in others and everything. It is all about trying to achieve the best for everyone.

But you must genuinely care deep in your heart about the rest of the world, and genuinely believe you can be an "angel" (or anything close to this ideal) to others. That you can genuinely touch people's hearts and lives and make this world a better place because you are in it.

And always remember that this is not about being selfless and only caring about others. To be able to properly care for others, you must look after yourself first!
