Today I organized the music room and cleared all the audio data from my Roland recorder. I think I’m ready to go. Now the waiting begins …
How to participate in NaSoAlMo 2008
It made me
happy

How I did it: Progress was recorded on my blog.
This year I stretched myself more. I used the keyboard as the main instrument on four songs and the bass as the main instrument on one. Six of the eight songs I wrote started with lyrics which is backwards from the way I usually do things. I used sound samples on four songs.
I wrote a tribute to a movie.
I wrote about a vacation destination.
I wrote about a political issue that shouldn't be political.
I wrote about a breakup that didn't happen the way I wrote about it.
I wrote silly songs and serious songs.

I spent the evening archiving the NaSoAlMo 2007 audio data from my laptop. It’s defragging now, so it’ll be ready to go Nov. 1. I still need to archive the files on my Roland recorder and organize my music room. That’s a project for tomorrow.
