this is ging to be harder than I thought

I have used this company for my moving needs many times before. Today this company has lost my business and I will never use it again.

I paid a $5.00 fee to make a reservation online to rent a moving truck for this weekend over a week ago. I live 10 blocks away from a rental location and the first reservation agent called me from 3 miles away offering me something different than what I reserved and the second call from an agent was from 10 miles away who had what I needed but was about a 30 minute drive away. The second agent kindly got my local center to call me. I secured my reservation and went on my merry way. It’s now two days before my move and I have received a call from the rental location that was 10 miles away to inform me that my reservation has been transferred to them because my local center could not honor my reservation. Apparently another customer has failed to return a moving truck. So instead of solving this issue internally I got the shaft. Well, so did you. I cancelled my reservation immediately.

It’s nice to know that I had to pay you guys $5.00 to be on the phone four times to get the reservation and to tell your people where the closest rental center is. I could have opened up the phone book and made the calls myself just as easy and saved myself the $5.00. (Which is what I ended up doing anyways; called one of your competitors where I was able to make a reservation close to home, for free, and with just one call!)

I should have known better than to pay a reservation fee. My bad. But it’s even more of your bad. That $5.00, poor reservation system, and the inability to resolve reservation issues internally has just cost this company what could have someday ended up being thousands more.

A once loyal customer

I hate packing and I hate moving.

I have a million little knick knacks and two weeks to get them packed.

AND I DON’T EVEN WANT TO MOVE!

Well, this is the first goal off of my list that I’ve finished. Now that I’ve packed and stored everything, I guess I’d better get my new place set up.

Well, first mission accomplished. I turned in the keys to my landlady on Monday. I should move into my new apartment sometime this month.
