be a pundit

I wrote on 43 things three years ago I wanted to become a pundit. Not sure why. But now after pontificating about renewable fuels on CNN, CNBC, WSJ, NBC, Newsweek, et al. and writing a long review for SNS, I can say I am a pundit of sorts. Worth doing. Not very rewarding. Keeps the brain from going mush though.

Did I achieve any sense of fame? No. But I did realize something wonderful. I don’t want to do it. I don’t want to be known for being opinionated. I do want to write more, and I would love to tackle the subject of some of my political ideals one day, but punditry in and of itself just doesn’t appeal to me anymore.
