“Sick” from how fascinated I am by it or/and “Sick” from..IT, y’know? I haven’t seen the movie. Can’t find it anywhere (then again, I live in Wisconsin. That should explain quite a bit). I read the book when I was 15. I had found it my the English Classroom and have LOVED it ever since then (I’m pretty sure that my English teacher has NO IDEA what it’s about—if she did, I doubt it’d be in her room). Anytime I get the chance in that class, I grab the book.
I always look for clips from the movie on the internet though. Listen to the sound clips, read up on the Movie Trivia and such. I’ve told my older sister about the book and how I want to see it and was SHOCKED to find out she knew what I was talking about, more or less had seen the movie. She didn’t like it. She said it was F*ed up, weird, sick, and like a porno. ...Then I retorted with “It’s based on the book! It’s about philosophy! It’s about society! It’s about which is better: DECIDING to be bad, or being FORCED into being Good! You have to be able to look past THOSE scenes to understand it.”
I saw this one store-guy once and thought: Whoa. If he lost that belly (and cut the hair somewhat), he’d be so like an Alex (with looks). Then i got creeped out because the guy was creepy…
BUT… I don’t think the movie should be remade.
I mean… It’s a Kubrick film! It’s a classic! It should remain untouched!
BUT… if the film WAS remade…
Though he’s like…30… I think Cillian Murphy would make a good Alex. He makes good villians.
