Last week I went to a big casting and I made it through 3 cuts (there were hundreds of other hopefuls) to be one of 15 others chosen to be part of a legit modeling agency (for each island, there’s a select group of girls/guys that will make it)! I am flattered and excited because I’m definitely one of the older (if not oldest) girls in the group that made it, and can’t wait to begin my year contract! Next month I have my first official photo shoot, which will be from 5:30am to 4:00pm, so I’m kind of nervous! The great thing with this particular agency is that they also have a magazine that we’ll all get to be included in, so there will be opportunities for print work :D Plus we’re expected to attend various promotion functions throughout the year as well, so that should be fun!

This was worth it for the experience but it’s not for me. Although I love being in the centre of attention, I also am in recovery from an eating disorder and I feel modelling just isn’t right for me at the moment.

I want to model because i know that i have what it takes to make it big an di will strive forward into making that happen
