I settled everything with work this week and they are going to let me work remotely as a full employee – keep my benefits, the computer, and most my projects. No more commute. My days will be my own. I will get so much more done is so much less time. I can’t wait to get back into yoga and all my other long ignored pleasures and desires.

Got a big raise without having to drag it out of em. I had a performance review a few weeks ago and this weeks meeting was to discuss the resulting compensation. I admit I was surprised when he named the number I was holding on to in my head! I got some great feedback, most importantly that I am honest and open, and that I have increased my productivity while working less hours than the rest of my team. It feels really good!
And just in time for me to include in my application for a job in a firm I really admire. I stayed up late a few nights getting my portfolio ready, which turned out great. Can’t wait to hear what they think…

Or is it longer? I have a way of working effortlessly, continually changing my focus and pace, being productive in several things, and bringing them all to one happy and complete conclusion.
I’ll try to keep a log of my accomplishments. For today, I did:
Ensure that our carpenter was on track with the counter project.
Keep in touch with my partner on progress in painting the platforms and steps and railings of our new packing assy. I gave him a list of items needed.
Report to our supervisor, Mr. L., advising him of our progress.
Myself, I painted over the primer on the third platform, did the bare-metal treatment, painted primer on the middle stairway, and sprayed lacquer on the wood steps.
I hauled a small load of steel, iron, and tin to the metal recycling yard.
I went for supplies to the hardware store in the county seat.
I secured the computers for the assy.

Ha! But i’m enjoying much quality time with my children. I thought many times i’d die, and my children would be left without their biological father.
