and when I saw that on Allison Bechtel’s site I clicked the Buy It button. And lo and behold it took me to a site that helped me find local bookstores that would be carrying it. Not Barnes and Nobel and not Borders but beautiful stores like Kepler’s and Bookshop Santa Cruz which have far more interesting offerings and feature local authors and poets. If you don’t buy from them they go away (like Cody’s did in Berkeley). I can start there—buying books from independent sellers.
