spend more time with my girlfriend

In July she moves to my town, so I expect to be seeing lots more of her then!

223 miles away right now. One of us needs to move! For now, it is meet halfway, or drive for 4 hours. But we talk everyday, so that helps!

I’ve had her staying at my house for the past couple of weekends, then I have her for the next week and then we go on holiday at the start of June. So thats all happy. Its almost like we have a normal relationship now. Almost.

I have an amazing and beautiful girlfriend. She’s in college though, and 4 hours away. Thank God for the summer is all I can say. <3

I should probably add that that will seem odd to most people. And they would be right. But because we’ve lived with this state of affairs for so long we’re just used to it now. Well, it isn’t rightly and frankly weird. I’m starting to see the light. If our situation is not clearer to resolution by the middle of the year, maybe I’ll need to add a stronger resolution about being in the same place, not just spending time together.

I’ve just spent the last four weekends with her, and most of the weeks in between. Which is really something. Next stop marriage :)

Been going out with my girlfrend since March 1996. However we’ve only been in the same place for those next few months. After that she moved to live hundreds of miles away, and whenever I’ve tried to get it sorted, it never worked out. Its a bit…. odd. Anyway, I asked her to marry me last October and she promised that she would move by the end of September. So by the end of the year I want that sorted and to have marriage preparations in hand.

My gf and i we spent the whole day in the city walking around, didn’t do much shopping. Just mainly walking, although we did buy ourselves a pair of sunnies. We had lunch at the ‘sushi train’ where they serve the sushis on a plate on a track that goes around, and around. I had my camera, the day couldn’t have been better, took heaps of random pics, i’ll be sure to post some up.
Towards the end of the day, she actually told me her feets getting tired, not very often this happens.
Usually i’m the one complaining, now it’s her turn… ;)

My gf wants me to spend more time with her shopping, looking at things. Now, i dont mind shopping at all, but being a guy i usually find what i want very quickly whereas girls take hours or see 50 stores before they decide. I’m not saying anything against them, it’s cute. I know alot of friends that doesn’t like shopping with their gf, i dont wanna end up like them. So, therefore i’m going to make an effort to ‘be’ in the moment whenever i go shopping with my gf, giving more feedbacks and making more suggestions. At my workplace we have this ‘steps’ challenge to walk 10,000 steps a day, a team of 6 people, my team on average does 25,000 – 30,000 steps a day per person. But on a typical day when i’m not working and having a stroll through the shopping centres, i barely do 6000 steps and i’m already tired.

Going to grab a bite to eat and maybe catch a movie this Tuesday, haven’t done this with my gf for so long, usually it’s with other friends of ours. Tuesdays are my days off, so i’m going to try make the most of it. I feel like we haven’t gone anywhere or done anything with just the two of us.
