make a snow angel and a snowman

my lame snow angel hehe this is from a year ago we dont get really thick snow hear anymore but when i was younger it came all the way up to my cheast so you could make great snow men and snow angels hehe

i went on a ski trip and it snowed on the last day! it was gorgeous… and i made a snow angel while i was wearing a big fluffy robe. attempts were made at the creation of a snowman but to no avail. snow is really cold. and i’m lazy. but i made some mini ones! yayyyyy

Sadly, someone beat him up and the snow baby when I went to check if they were still there. It was still so much fun to make them though! :O)

Snow fell the day before we went to Big Bear, California, so there was a lot of fresh untouched snow on the ground on the first day we got there! During our drive on the road to Big Bear, we pulled over to the side to put chains on the tires. There was a lot of snow on the side, so we had a snow ball fight and made snow angels too!!! I pretty much made snow angels everywhere we stopped! After putting the chains on, we drove for a while and stopped at a “turn off” area. We had a snow ball fight again, ate snow, licked an icicle, and tried making snowmen. My first snowman came out very small, so it was more like a snow baby…I was determined to make a big snowman later on though and I did get to accomplish it on the last day of our trip! The big snowman looked very lonely and I didn’t want to leave it alone, so I made a snow baby right next to it. My cousin also made a snowman sitting on a bench, which looked lonely too…so I made a snow man next to it as well. I’ll post pictures of the snowmen…I miss the snow so much!!!

it may snow after all…

this was intended to be a short term goal and well, due to global warming, there has been no real substantial snow this winter for ohio…

where did the winter snow go?

The trip to the snow is finalized and we are going mid-January! I heard that they were making man-made snow earlier because it wasn’t snowing much there. I’m hoping by the time we get there…all the snow will be real. Yesterday it rained where I live and on the news they said that the mountains received 1-2 inches of snow…today is sunny though. I need to get to the snow before global warming takes over…

I’m now thinking about using bananas for the snow man/woman’s noses, rather than carrots!!!

I just found out today that we may be taking a trip to somewhere it snows during early January 2007!!! I’m so excited!!! I haven’t been to the snow since I was a kid (about 9 years old). I can’t wait to make tons of snow angels and build a very big snow man (and maybe a snow woman too)!!! I have to remember to bring hats, scarves, and carrots to put on the snow man/woman. I also want to bring a bucket, so that I could bring some snow home…hopefully it won’t melt quickly and I could build a snow baby out in the yard or something…
