First movie with the 2 first beers at this so-waited vacation! =)
35. The Visitor
I like this movie for its own sake, but it also made me feel a little less isolated when coping with the immigration limbo that my friend/ex/boyfriend/whatever is in the middle of. I’m a social worker that’s worked with immigrants for quite a few years, so I shouldn’t have been so innocent… but it’s impossible to explain what sitting in the industrial grey room at ICE headquarters is like. The movie made me sad and angry, but they also were able to really get it right. I’d like to see immigration policy change so that we can keep hardworking, good people here and ship off people like Lou Dobbs, Sarah Palin, and Dick Cheney…

I couldn’t sleep in the sunday night and, lucky me, this movie was on tv. I think I really could do a Brad Pitt’s movies sequence. I loved this one too!
