The only way I can possibly become the writer and I aspire to be is by reading every. single. day.
How to read every day
How I did it: I spend two hours on public transport a day. I brought a book. I read the book instead of being bored.
Then I went on a magical journey filled with laughter and love, where I learned many life lessons and finally became a woman, seeing that true beauty is on the inside and that knowing is half the battle.
ie This minimum word limit annoying. Sometimes things don't require more than a sentence to explain.
Lessons & tips: Catch the bus instead of driving.
Resources: Bus timetable. Yay.

Thoughtcriminal31 - wondering why I haven't achieved these goals yet...
It’s going pretty well. I read most days, and on those days more than a page. But I still miss days altogether occasionally. I want to truly read every day. Just that one teeny tiny page..

My one page goal is perfect. if I feel really busy it’s not a daunting task at all and often leads to greater things. It breaks the cycle of procrastination at least. I’m on my way to having finished three of my ten course books for one of my autumn literature courses =)
I finished reading Men from Mars and women from Venus. It was so good to know my ownself from John Grays perspective. It din’t really change anything but I understand myself and my emotional needs better. I got the validation I needed for feeling the way I feel at the end of a long tiring day.
Now I am reading Men from Mars Children from heaven by John Gray. It deals with child psychology and positive parenting. I am half way there I hope I finish it soon.
I think there is is another one of Men from Mars for married couples in a relationship. I am already eager to bring home that one but I will wait.

I do enjoy reading, don’t get me wrong, but I get daunted by the sheer number of boos I have to read for university. It would help if I read every single day. Even if it’s a page. On the days I need to read all day or finish a book, I want to start reading [again, just even a page] the moment I wake up, before breakfast, before a shower, just to set the ball rolling. That way it become a habitual thing rather than a momentous occasion that brings fear!
Living In God's Exquisite, Miraculous Sufficiency hasn't had time to be on 43T. Been busy with life.
The one thing I read every day is my Bible. I learn so much from it.
spoiledbjp is procrastinating
but i’ll admit, i’ve been lacking.
my school sent out a list of books (must be 50) to read over the summer.
my goal?
to ready every one of them.
I’m in a coffee shop, reading a book!! The House on Mango Street. Apparently, everyone read it in high school English class…. who knew? I’ve noticed that I don’t read very much when my boyfriend is around (ie: the last 2 1/2 years). Hmm…
I know that saying “read every day” can’t be listed as “done” unless I’ve set a time frame, like read every day for a year, but I’ve been doing really well at keeping this up. With summer beginning, I’ll be able to keep it up for sure, so I’m going to set some more specific reading goals.
