I want to be a translator someday. I want to translate spanish.. and I’ve been studying online because I can’t get into a spanish class at school (why, the guidance counsler is a bitch) so I be tryin to learn stuff online. Translation is a good way to make money… but I want to own a business someday <- that’s my way of makin money but I want to translate for people that don’t understand. Anyone know any tips or other ways to learn?
So I am in my 3rd year of college… and i am looking to get a job in translating… spanish is my major and my ultimate goal is to translate for the United Nations.
What are some good paying translating jobs to do while i prepare for the UN?
where should i go to use my degree?
what exactly does it involve? i know you need at least four fluent languages to APPLY to the UN…
