set up for a chain reaction of lateness.
and my boss marked it down on my timesheet.
which is only fair but it’s so annoying, especially because the week before there were at least two days where I ended up leaving 15 minutes late due to work.

yesterday and today…
although i did cut it close yesterday.
found myself fuming at NYC tourists…
putting up this goal, i’ve been more on-time (or v. close) than not. and um, i must admit, some of it has been from sheer necessity.
rolled out of bed later than i wanted/needed, but hustled and pushed and prodded my asthmatic self to work on time. which was a good thing because i noticed my boss checking her wristwatch oh-not-so-subtly when i walked into the door
(did i ever mention how much i dislike that habit some folks have? if you absolutely MUST do it, then please be subtle?!!)
i have been on time more than before…
... although not as much as I would like
Ugh. I was about 7 minutes late today. Basically, on time enough to open the library, but not “on time-on time”
Pattern I’ve noticed. it’s when i have an earlier shift that I find it more difficult to be on time.
