How I did it: I finally got CPR certified today! I signed up to do the course online through The American Red Cross. I did the Adult/Child CPR course. It took about 3 hours to complete. After I completed my test online I signed up to do the skill portion at my local Red Cross. I was surprised at how easy it was and it didn't take very long to complete. The guy gave me a spiffy little card to carry with me as proof of my training. It's a really cool feeling knowing that I'm able to save someone's life! I encourage everyone to get certified! How I did it: I signed up for a class that had this as a requirement to pass the class, the day long seminar was provided by the American Red Cross. If you sign up for a class, they will show you all you need to know if you're not proficient in anatomy etc. In the end I got CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certified. Read how I did it…

Yay!!! Got it done… good for me, and possibly some unsuspecting lucky person someday.

I just completed my online course for child and adult CPR training! I just have to take the written part of the test and schedule a time to do my skill portion of my training at my local Red Cross. It’s a really cool feeling knowing that I will know how to save someone’s life! :)

I took the test today. I made a 100! Yay! : ) I’ll receive my certificate in a couple of weeks. I’ll wait until then to make this official and count it as done.

I am taking the class this summer. I need to decide if I want to take the morning class or the afternoon class. I need to remember to email B and to go pick up the textbook when it comes in.
