I have no problem conversing with people now, I worked in a Call Center which pretty much made it impossible not to talk and with all the crap Ive been through lately, I really could care less about good impressions.

I get so nervous when I have to talk to people. I look at anything but them, I say stupid things, I stammer, and I just want to disappear. It’s so awkward.
I like to get to know people by NOT talking to them. I like to watch them interact with other people for a long time before I get used to them and it still takes a LONG, long time to get comfortable and to know what to talk about. I’m a quiet person anyway.
Ask for advice: Get help from people who've accomplished this goal
