"Though I've worked out for the last 9 months, working out 4 times a week was tough but completely worth it. "
How I did it: The key was having a workout partner. Without my workout buddy I would definitely be slacking. She makes sure to call me, and I make sure to call her in order to stick to our plan. We also set up our workouts a few days in advance so that we know what we're doing. Having a plan is easier to stick to then just winging it each day.
Lessons & tips: Get a workout partner.
Make a plan for the week.
Stick to the plan.
Resources: Group X classes at the gym (24 hour fitness). They are fun, and an easy way to burn at least 400-600 calories in each session. They also keep you on a consistent schedule so that you know what time you are going to work out, what you are going to do and how long you'll be at the gym. I go to different classes each time--whether it be kickboxing, or strength training or boxing. Changing it up makes it easier to stick to.
