Yeah, I’m on my feet all day at work, but at home I’m so lazy and lethargic, I make myself sick! No wonder I haven’t lost any weight since having my girls (the littlest one will be 5 in August!). I think I would feel much better about myself and my surroundings if I worked on doing something productive, if at least for a small portion of the day.

I’ve been working on pop-ups” for surfing and lots of pushups, crunches, and now I’m starting with weights. It seems much easier to get myself motivated if it’s something I do a bit moe of each day. I started two weeks ago with 1 pop-ups, now I can do 15, which there is no way I could do two weeks ago. Plus my push-ups and crunches have increased a lot, too. And doing it this way is great because my body doesn’t get too sore. It’s easy to do one extra every day!
It’s hard to be active after working a 10 hour day. Usually I just want to sit and do nothing.
Again, I need better shoes. And I want to take dance. I need to stop spending all my money on costumes.
I started a program called Power 90, alternating cardio and strength-training. It’s interesting enough for me to do everyday and not get bored.
I’ve started a workout routine 5x a week called “Power 90.” My housemate is doing it with me and so far we’ve been able to motivate each other to stick to it.
After 3 months at my new job, I’ll be getting benefits (which include gym membership). Until then, I have the home workouts.
My main intent is to not turn into a slug. At least walk a little on the days when I’m not working out.
Sloth has become my middle name. I need to start getting regular exercise, even if it’s just a brisk walk to get my blood pumping and clear my mind.
I bought a pair of inline skates today (to replace the pair that got stolen last year), so that should be some good motivation.
(Obviously my previous goal of getting into the climbing gym three days a week fell apart. Ah well.)
