pray without ceasing

I have learned that there are so many things to pray about: school, family, love life, friends, the future, world events, etc.

I take time every day to pray for the simplest things. I believe it all makes a difference.

not praying before i interact with the challenging ones in my path…just blindly getting sideswiped over and over again

We actually had a class discussing this before the mission trip, coming very soon. We’ll be heading to Loveland, CO. At any rate we did a pray walk with our youth partner to free their prayers and let them just learn to talk to God through everything.

A dear elderly lady asked that I be part of the National Day of Prayer today, so I took on the 7am slot and sat in my bathroom this morning and prayed for everything and everyone that I could think of, I hope you will notice. Feel God’s power.

and then in school today when i was teaching an autist child and feeling such a burden for him because he is so precious and struggles so much to communicate and adjust to his surroundings.

I need to spend more time talking with God. I realize that some days I can go almost a whole day at school and not talk to Him. Wow what is wrong with me. I am getting better at this though.

I keep thinking this morning that when life gives you lemons-which I love, but here represent the negative- you make lemonade- but I think life is giving me apples- and there’s an aweful lot of choices with apples. I thank God for apples. Apples are crisp, sweet, varied, and vibrant.

You know God wants a relationship with us, not an email or post it note every now and then. God wants us to just say it when it comes up. Whether it’s thanks, help me, or save me.

As you grow in your relationship/walk with The Lord, you will come to see that you are praying without ceasing, because you will commune with Him. He will speak to you and lead you through your day (and night). Read Brother Lawrence. He let’s you see how everything you do you can do as “onto The Lord”. This is a form of praying without ceasing. I want to pray without ceasing. I want to give God everything that I have. I want to tell Him how I feel when I feel it. I want to share every aspect of my life with Him, everyday. I want to invite Him to everything that I do. I want to stop treating Him like the one that I only run to for help, I want Him to be my best friend, my everything! I want to move!
