The best thing about this goal is… that I will achieve it in my next holidays :) I’m happy. I thought it would take longer to see this beautiful city again.

Je suis vraiment heureuse :)

Last time in Paris was the 14th July, my 16th Birthday. There was this concert with Nelly Furtado.

À bientot Paris.

In life, I am a believer of never going back 19 months ago

But Paris was beautiful.

I explored the city in October of 2005. Before that. I had only ever explored Disney land..

And of course now I am a confident french speaker (more than english, sometimes) I would love to take on a french facade and be someone completely different for a short trip.

I went to Paris on an awesome three-day school trip when I was 14, but I was more excited about going to Disneyland Paris than the actual city. Everything was too rushed and I didn’t appreciate anything properly, although I did have a great laugh with my best mates.

Wonderful!

Food – Amazing
Weather – Scorchio
Entertainment – 14th July = Bastille Day, free Nelly Furtado + Guests concert in the gardens followed by a breathtaking fireworks display with the Eiffel tower as a backdrop.

I went there few years ago but I had to do all this tourist stuff because I was with the family. And let me tell you that a complete day walking in heels around Paris looks as bad as (to me) being a perfect tourist with that banana bag on your belly! Do not get me wrong, I looove my family but next time, I would like to go to the best restaurants, galeries, shopping (indeed), see all the good things the Ville Lumière has to offer.

Paris is the most wonderful place in the World – I don’t care what anyone says. The food you will eat while visiting is like no other you have ever experienced. The cultural experiences and memories you can make there will last a lifetime. Word of advice: go with someone you adore that adores you. It just isn’t the same without someone you can share it with and remember it with. Also, do and see as much as you can. Don’t worry about your diet as your nibble on the world’s finest pastries at la patisserie and pay the equivalent of $4 to drink a coke while sitting outside a cozy Parisian cafe. Definitely, do the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. You won’t forgive yourself if you don’t. Learn to say do you speak english in French (parlez vous anglais sil vous plait?) and you will be welcomed by the natives. They truly appreciate your not expecting them to respond to you English without first asking them in their native language, which makes total sense.
