start figure skating again

i found a rink that’s right near our apartment and called the guy who runs the figure skating program, but this was two weeks ago and he’s not called me back yet. once i have the time (or, y’know, actually remember), i should probably call back.

i’d taken lessons for years before i landed a jump that destroyed my ankle during my sophomore year of high school. i miss skating like crazy and, even though i haven’t even been to an open skate in a few years, i think i’ve retained enough of what i learned to pick it back up with a little effort. i just need the money to pay for a private instructor.
