The Sea of Cortez, in Baja California, is a kayaker’s mecca – it has crystal clear blue waters, soft white sand beaches, wonderful camping spots, island hopping, snorkeling, low population density, and just plain hanging out space. And a great time to get away from cold New England winter for a bit. I have wanted to go here ever since I started kayaking and before I had my own boat. I am hoping to make this happen sometime over this winter, and am looking into how to make this happen. There is no shortage of outfitters for me to consider, so I’m having fun reading about all these adventure possibilities. It’s a beautiful spot.
