Lisa is relaxing. :)
I’ve always lived in the same city as my best friends, both from primary and secondary school. It’s very nice. :)

It seems that for me even living on the same continent as her is too much to ask.
But for all the thousands of miles that there are between us, this doesn’t change the impact she has on my life – nor does it stop me worrying about her like she lives two doors down instead of across an ocean.
But maybe that’s what makes her so special; the fact that it’s impossible for me to take her for granted, and that every second that I’m able to talk to her is treasured more than any moment spent with friends that I can touch.
That said, I sure wouldn’t complain if I could whinge at her in person every now and then, hehe.
I’m not afraid that I will lose my best friends if I’m not in the same place as them but it would just be so comforting to know that your best friends are just around the corner. My friends and I have this row of houses that we all want to live in when we’re older…these houses are so adorable. But I don’t think it would happen. I don’t know…we’ll just have to see.
It’s been 9—almost 10 years since my two best friends and I have lived in the same city. My parents moved me away when I was 16, and although I have always talked to them frequently on the phone, it’s never the same as actual quality face-to-face time.
I moved back for a year after I graduated high school, but at that point, my best friend Jeff moved about 100 miles away to go live with his dad. By the time he moved back a year and a half later, I had already been forced to move on to somewhere else.
About three years ago, my other best friend Eric joined the military, and moved away too. Not that I really notice much, because it’s still just telephone time, and so the face-to-face thing never really comes into play.
In an ideal world, I would love for all of us to live in the same city, wherever that may be, and just have the chance to spend lots and lots of quality time together again. I miss them so much, and with me living out in the boonies these days, I simply crave human interaction with the people I’m closest to, but never get.
tahti is going to drive for the first time! Pray for me :o
can you imagine this heaven? :)))
This is unbelievable! Now my husband’s job is sending us to the other side of the country and hers is sending her to only three hours away from here.
My best friend lives 41 hours away by car. I miss her so much, but she is one of those friends that somehow is always with you. It has been over a year since we lived in the same place.
