Play Classical Guitar Again

Back to making okay noises.

The plan is to get back to the standard I was at and then think about some lessons.

Perhaps one day I will achieve this. But at the moment I feel that I am clinging to an aspect of my past that I should be able to let go of. One day I hope to return to it; and when that time comes, it won’t hold me back, but will be a joy.

Spent an hour filing and shaping my nails so that they didn’t slide across the strings. Was so mind blowingly underwhelmed by the results I had to give up after 3 minutes of playing. Need more dedication (and better nails).

I got my guitar out for the 1st time in a year. It needs restringing, tuning and generally a bit of TLC. I’m in the mood to give it some, its very pretty. Got inspired listening to John Williams. I wuld love to be able to play like that!

I reacquainted myself with some of the notes yesterday

But I am not particularly good, and my guitar is sitting in the corner getting very dusty.
