How I did it: We spent 5 days in NYC last August and our hotel was next to Times Square. We kept seeing all this ads for shows and decided to go see one.We chose "A Chorus Line" and went, in the morning, to buy tickets directly at the theater. We got good prices because we had students fee.It really was fun :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: My husband and I went to NYC with some friends. They had already gotten us tickets for Fiddler on the Roof when Harvey Kaitel and Rosie O'Donnel were in it. So we saw that. the following day we ended up going to see Woman in White and then stood in line at the TKTS booth to get tickets for Rent. It was an amazing time and definitely something I want to do again. Read how I did it…

Pippin, in 1976, I think it was, and Spamalot about two years ago.
At some point, I’d like to go back and take in another. There’s just something about that area, the theatres, Broadway actors. It’s so enticing, so exciting.

My dream since I was in 4th grade was to go to New York City and see a Broadway play. It was top on my list of tings I wanna do most of all. The year my brother graduated high school (two years after I did) I found out my aunt and uncle were taking a trip up to new York and I asked if I could come along. They agreed, and we spent three days in New York City. Our last day there it was raining. Our boat ride to see the Statue of Liberty was canceled. My uncle was concerned we couldn’t afford to see a Broadway play but I offered to pay for all four tickets for myself, my brother and my aunt and uncle. We saw The Producers. Since then I’ve also seen The Phantom of the Opera and Wicked.

before bob saget became a part of the cast… bridgette took me to it about 2 or 3 years ago just after it opened
Considering that I live in CA and fly to NYC just to see shows, it is most DEFINITELY worth while! RENT, Phantom, Miss Saigon, Victor Victoria (with Julie Andrews before she lost her voice!)Bring in da Noise (LOVE Savion Glover)and Wicked. Regional Tours: I’ve lost count.
alexshelley is going to turn it all around
I’ve seen Les Miserables twice! I’ve seen Cats . Wicked… MOST AMAZING SHOW EVER! I RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!! I’ve seen Spamalot and Marry Poppins in NYC. Both hilarious and entertaining!
Ones I want to see:
RENT, The Producers, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Lion King, Spring Awakening(I NEED TO SEE IT!!), The Phantom of the Opera.
If you’ve never seen a broadway play, you really really need to go to one. It’s very entertaining. And great to watch people who love to sing, act, and dance. And to see people be amazing at each one, it’s incredible.
I went to the American Broadway tour of Spamalot last week. THIRD ROW. It was amazingly fantastically wonderful.
It’s not on Broadway officially, but the closest I’ve gotten as of yet.
I know. I’ve pretty much abandoned 43things and I randomly log on to spew to you reading this about Spamalot. It’s true.
