i was bored on a sunday at 2:05 pm and this is what i did. its not worth a million dollars and its not an expression of my deepest darkest emotions, but it was fun. and its one more thing off my list.
i thought about what i wanted to do for the rest of my life and working a regular job never seemed too appealing. so i have decided on creating art.
I used to want to create huge paintings and just constructing the canvas caused me to procrastinate. Now I have an idea to do small drawings or paintings that are postcard size.
My goal is to finish one by June 1st.

Almost done it. It is about 5 feet tall x 2 feet wide. Only a few strokes to go.
In my effort to pursue more creative outlets, I decided today would be a good day to start. I had 3 canvasses setting aside, propped against the wall of my kitchen, ready for some action. I had already painted them with a light yellow basecoat, so I got them back out today, and proceeded to give my Jackson Pollock style painting skills a go. It was really fun! So far, I have only used white paint to make my crazy swirls and twists and splotches, but I plan to also add some green and blue, to match my kitchen and living room, after the white paint dries. I’ve got to do this more often.
i just havent created anything in a year or so. the break-up made me unmotivated to do anything. i like to be happy whenever i draw or paint. i guess i havent had the time or the mood to make anything. thats going to change though, i want to make my christmas presents again this year. im excited to see what i come up with…
Through continuing to practice the principles of leadership I learned in the Legacy Leadership Program, I have deepened my relationships and expanded my ability to accomplish more in less time. I have an extraordinary relationship with my 89 year old grandmother, who calls me to help her think through different challenges she faces in life and simply to say I love you. I have a fun and free relationship with both of my parents and my brothers. One of my brothers and I were distanced after we completed high school, and now we share our lives from our heart. We don’t just talk about what’s happening in our lives; we support and love each other through the ups and downs. I have a training career that I am passionate about, where I literally impact hundreds of people. My health is the best it has ever been. I have a part-time business in which I am earning residual income working 5-10 hours per month. Finally, I am pursuing a lifelong dream of facilitating leadership development trainings for visionary young men and women in Africa who want to use their talents to serve their communities. I am grateful for the Legacy Center, and the opportunity to keep learning and serving.
