Buy food and donate to the Food Bank

I got the list of things the food bank was in most need of and went to the food store.  As I was shopping for canned juice and soup I saw so many of them dedicated to kids- with Dora on them or princesses or cars or batman.  I thought about the kids suffering in the world with out food... I decided to match the $80 and keep buying.  There are things this week I can forego so some kids can have oatmeal and soup.... hey, I quit smoking so that'll make up for it anyway you slice it!! 

I read an article earlier this week that said the food banks are bare.  Even if every just donated one thing they'd be less bare by one thing... and lots of one things add up quick!
