My grandfather being from Crete, I’ve been there many (6, 7?) times when I was a teenager, and I loved the place.
But I’ve never been there with my boyfriend, and I’d really like to show him the island, it’s so beautiful.
My dream is actually to drive with him on the road to Matala, hair in the wind, with U2 playing “Where the Streets Have no Name”...

its not often that you can say that about someone. but its the case. this man has changed my life with his thoughts, actions and words. despite the fact that i run the risk of ruining a perfect memory from a time in my life with revisitation, im willing to risk it.
