set up a flight simulator rig

I really want to set up a dedicated flight sim rig for playing X-Plane and MS Flight Simulator, I want a big monitor, maybe even three for an all-round effect, track IR maybe, flight yoke and joystick, throttle controls and maybe even those very cool GoFlight autopilot, radio and landing gear panels! As for the PC, I’m thinking Windows based, big memory, big and fast hard drives for all that global scenery, fast PCI-E graphics card and a decent soundcard and set of speakers for a truly immersive virtual flight experience!

Might make a start on it when I get my own place, a box room would be great for this idea.
