I’ve got tons of books. But no one else reads them. It’s a waste. I want to open a library, to lend my books to those who’d love to read them.

I want to have my books seperated into proper sections and labeled. I want to get more shelves. I want to get more books to fill the shelves.

This is going to be given up on for a while. Someday I will have a house of my own where I can dedicate an entire room to books, but right now I am so limited in space that this isn’t really a realistic goal.

I have always wanted a personal library so I could be my own personal librarian.

my dream house would have to have a library

I already own the books... 9 months ago

...boxes and boxes of them! I own an estimated 200+ tomes already, but because of frequent relocations (coincidentally related to some of my other goals which include living in various really cool places), they are mostly boxed up. However, I intend to finally get a more spacious apartment either this year or next year, and then there will be enough room for my cherished books. (not to mention my CD and DVD collection which is also pretty bulky)

I've got it started... 10 months ago

I’m well on my way to 300 books…I find that used bookstores such as Halfprice Books really help. And Ikea has cheap, yet functional and sturdy shelving.

Now I need my own place with a room made just for this.
