Be Bard suffering from compulsive reprioritising syndrome
My skin has never been that bad, though I still have some acne at 23 years old… which I sometimes pick…
But now I’m so busy, my skin is actually looking better than ever, even though I’ve spent very little time/money on it… or maybe this is why…

Lcee09 dogs are consuming my thoughts!
So, this week I have tried to get back with a number of my 43 goals, including this one, and my skin has cleared up quite a bit. I have been using my facewash from the AcneFree system twice a day and using a Clearasil benzoyl peroxide treatment once every few days before bed. I have also not eaten meat in the last week. I’m starting to wonder if the lack of meat is making a difference because it seems that my acne is hormone related and all the nasty hormones in meat might be a contributer. Not sure, but it would make sense because that’s one of the only changes I’ve made to my routine as of late. Whatever it is, my skin is starting to clear up which is wonderful! : )

I have always had PERFECT skin, never a blemish, all through my teenage years my friends hated me coz of it! But since feb this year I haven’t had a single day of clear skin, I am always broken out with two – 5 spots, normally on my forehead, I hate it, I am embarrased by them, i dont want anyone to see me with them! I have tried changing my face wash etc. I am drinking lots of water and eating well (another goal is lose ten pounds!) but nothing seems to work. Its been nearly a year of grossness and I am over it! I will get clear skin again!

But when I DO get a pimple or blemish I tend to pick at it, aggravating and only lengthening the situation. I need to stop that.

I’m trying the oil cleansing method after reading about it on 43Things and then spending hours researching it on various websites-Lets hope it works! :)

My skin’s getting clearer and clearer. My main interest now is to continue this way, minimize pores and keep my skin from drying out.
I’m also going to start foods good for my skin.

Having clear skin would have so many benefits for me:
1. More confidance
2. I wouldn’t have to wear makeup on my skin (I hate the cakey feeling, and it would save me time in the morning)
3. I want to be a model (I have good bone structure and am very tall and thin, but clear skin is so essential)
4. I’m going on a mission trip in April to Costa Rica and I DO NOT want to be bringing foundation and concealers and washes and everything. I want that time to focus on what’s important.

My routine when I wake up is:
-wash face with medicated apricot scrub
-apply makeup
-apply moisturizer as needed
throughout the day i touch up with moisturizer
before i sleep:
-take off makeup w/makeup remover wipes
-wash face with medicated apricot scrub
-apply tazorac
-apply mederma
I get the occasional pimple, but mostly, it’s my hyperpigmentation, large pores, and extremely dry skin i’m working on.
