I recently bought some Proactiv, and I think I’m going on a week now of using it. I know it will take a while to accomplish this goal, but I’m willing to give it a shot. =)

How I did it: I either grew out of it or it went away when I started on the pill. Or a combination of both.Apparently I'm supposed to write more in this box but it was, in fact, very simple. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I tried a lot of disappointing products before I finally went to the dermatologist. She started me on Ovace, Avar-E, Benzaclin, and Solodyn. I followed her instructions to the letter, and my surface acne began to clear up. Unfortunately, the Solodyn never seemed to work, because I was still getting horrible cystic pimples. The dermatologist told me to stop taking Solodyn prescribed some antibiotic that I never ended up purchasing. Around … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I think it was just an age thing, because i didnt really use any techniques and it jus cleared up by itself. It was pretty crummy feeling ugly because of my skin and it seemed everyone had perfect skin but now its gone i feel a lot more confident in myself. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I stoped eating sugar. I tried everything, absolutely everything. Nothing worked, I'm sure you've been there. I tried countless products, both natural and chemical laden. I ate what I considered to be healthily, so much fruit and veg. It didn't make any difference. No matter how much healthy food I ate, I saw little improvement because I was still eating the unhealthy, sugary foods as well. The minute I cut out sugar, and I mean completely… Read how I did it…

Michelle Metamorphosis wished upon a star for a change. ★彡 It didn't work. So, I'll change it
I’ve stopped using cream moisturisers, as I think the silcone in them irritates my skin. I use rose hip oil and bio oil instead, it seems to be working :)
The facial was a success! I mean it’s not worked miracles or anything-I still have a few blemishes and scars but my skin is positively glowing!-I’m really happy with the results!
I’ve had acne since I was in elementary school… and I’m 22 now. It’s pretty annoying. Being back in Houston my face looks even worse. I haven’t really been doing much of anything with it except washing my face. I’m thinking about purchasing the Aveda system. And once I can get this whole insurance thing squared away I’m hoping to get back on BC.
I also have a really hard time with not touching my face. I am constantly touching and picking which is totally horrible for my skin.
Over the last year I’ve suffered with acne;
After about 6 months of sticking to my routine of applying lots and lots benzoyl peroxide each night and lots and lots of moisturizer during the day I’m fairly sure all my “active” acne has gone!(which obviously I’m really pleased about)
But I’m still unhappy with my skin because I have acne scars-Next week I’m getting a “chroma clear” facial which is supposed to deal with this-Hopefully it’ll work!
Yesterday I bought new washing gel for my face or whatever it is from garnier pure active. It says: results from day 1. Of course I didn’t believe because I had used a lot of different products for my skin and even after I used them I hadn’t seen any improving. This morning I washed face with garnier and I saw that it’s a bit better than it was before. I also drink more water and it really helps my skin.
Cheryl so glad that God is watching over me
hmmm
currently on two pills. 1 wash. 2 creams.
morning: wash, use both creams (duac and differin)
afternoon: wash, use both creams
evening: pill (birth control; Tri-sprintec/Orthotricyclen)
night: wash, use both creams, pill (antibiotic; tetracycline)
and, it’s, still, persistent
the Dr. doesn’t want me on Accutane
I wish I could go on it.
my current routine disrupts my life, still leaves acne, and has side effects, plus the pill at night needs to be taken with a glass of water, so my sleep is also disrupted.
acne sucks.

I have been taking some pills to improve my skin, they have worked I have to admit I don’t get those painful breakouts and I’m happy about it. Although, I have some scars and darker marks around my chin from where they were and some red marks that don’t go away. If you look at my skin it looks terrible, like I still had pimples around my face because of those red marks and scars. I have stopped wearing foundation but I feel like hiding everytime.
How can I get rid of the scars? Any suggestions?
When my skin WAS clearing pretty well, I had not had a soda in 6 months. I started drinking soda again and I definitely have a lot of acne again. I also have not been able to stick to a routine of washing my face every night. So, this summer I intend to work on not drinking soda, washing my face every morning and night, and I might go back on BC.
