thanks to simtropolis.com for being my SimCity inspiration
Several sequals have followed the origional Sim City, from Sim City 2000 through 3000 and now the best ever, Sim City 4.
I’ve played SC4 and it is one of my favorite strategy games. It’s fun to be creative and guide realistic, functioning cities as they grow and how thousands of Sims. Wanna learn more? Visit Simcity.ea.com

Sim City is not an easy game, no matter how old the game is (i have two versions myself), the game will never cease to be difficult.
First, you start off with choosing your land, its name, and (like most people) start off with the Easy, taking $20,000. Thats a nice hunk of change… but you soon learn that it helps nothing.
Your money goes everywhere except where it started, your wallet. Your wallet will be empty within a year or three. Thats not good, because this game can go as long as you want. The furthest i think i’ve had a city was from year 1900 – 3000+. Anyway. The money’s gone because it goes to the police, roads, and fire department. (and with some newer Sim City games: Education, Health and Mass Transit.) It also goes to building your city, your Residentials, Commercials and Industrials all seem to be cheap, but they aren’t. Then, theres the problem of the weather/tragedy disasters. I’m talking about if Bowser Koopa decides to take a lovely and destructive stroll around your city, or if Hurricane Emily decides to come and turn into a Twister, or if a plane decides to crash. All problems that your money goes toward.
Then… theres that dreaded “T” word that pops up every year: Taxes.
Sims hate them because they have to pay them, but they never do.
You (the mayor) hate them because no one pays them, leaving you with little to no money for you to help you expand your city.
oh joy!
then, theres the times when you have no idea how your going to reverse the sudden downfall of your money without raising taxes to unheard of proportions, causing your city to pack up and leave.
Oh, no, no, no. Sim City is not an easy game.
So for once… i’d like to have a perfect city where they will pay their taxes, and have nice homes, and not have a steady decline of money, but a steady incline. I’d like to make it a metropolis. I’d like to gather enough money so i can fill up the entire city! And not just the practice cities either. I want to fill up a city that was entirely created by me.
is that too hard to ask for Sim City? is it? oh, the frustrations!
