of getting used. I try so hard to be a good friend. Now my “best friend” owes me 1400 dollars, never calls to hang out, and has no intention of paying me back. Where’s the line between being a good friend and getting taken advantage of? =(

I think I am going to court with a friend of mine, who has to travel 2,000 miles to testify against a guy who mugged her. That counts as improvement?

Maybe I was a little foolish, but yesterday my best friend asked if I would accompany her to a car dealership so she can see if the car she wanted was still there. We got dropped off by another friend, and her car was still there, but both her and her mother’s credit wasn’t good enough to get approved for the car. They told her she needed a new cosigner, and she looked so crushed when she realized there wasn’t anyone else she could ask. So I offered. Technically, I bought the car…I guess. LOL. I made the two thousand dollar down payment, and her boyfriend showed up and purchased insurance for her. She signed a promisary note saying she would pay the down payment back within 3 weeks (she’s waiting on tax return) and that she would make all the payments until she is able to refinance and take me off. I told her that I hope we’d never have to go to Judge Judy, hahaha. She said Don’t worry, you know I’ll be able to do it. As I said, a little foolish, but I think I did a good thing…

I got together w/ an aquaintance for a movie and me and my Ohio friend chatted for about two hours on Sunday.

I talked w/ my close friend this weekend, and an expat has emailed me about getting together. But I have two pages of emails to get back to at the moment, so I could be doing better.

Phew! I replied to two pages of emails and it’s taken almost all day. But I’m down to one page now! Oh I just hope no one replies yet!!

I replied to three REALLY old emails finally. Now I need to make some long-overdue phone calls.
