Laef Fox, a guy I have been seeing for a few years now, has made a movie about his deployment to Iraq when he served in the army. Laef was deployed when the US declared war shortly after 9/11, he was 23 at the time. While there he took a small video camera to catch footage so he could show family and friends what all he went through while he was there. Hi Ellen,
My name is Chris Wellings. I am a first time author of self-published children’s stories, “The Adventures of Sparkles”. The reason I am writing this letter is to THANK YOU! for giving me the inspiration and courage to follow my dream. I love my job as a kindergartren teacher asst. in Chesapeake Va. That is where a developed the character of “Sparkles” and presented her to the class. In the future I would like to grow into being a well known children’s author. JLo was on. It was alot of fun but alot of work. I had to be at the studio at 6am to be in line to get tickets. My taping wasnt til 6pm so I just had to mull artound town for a while. It was a bit cold and we had to wait outside til the taping. When we got in there it was alot of fun and we had to dance so much I got side cramps. I workout alot and I never get cramps so it was a good workout. other people were sweating bullets.They put me in the very front in the seat right in front of Ellens chair. It was great. I watched the show today and I taped it and you could see me all over the place since I was right in front of the cameras. It was worth doing! Id do it again but you can only go once a season.

the ellen show called me back 5 minutes after i submited the email application and they are sending me a packet!!!!!! yes !!! im going to see ellen!!!!!!!

I applyed for a ticket for Febuary 1st! now I just have to wait and see if I get it. Ive wanted to do this for years!!! I would try every day when I live 10 miles from where her show was taped and now I live an hour away but I can make the drive. I already asked my husband if he would stay home and watch the kids and he said yes! Im so excited! I hope, hope, hope, hope I get the ticket. I would be going by myself cuz I have no freinds who live in the area.
