Take more photos and organize them better

So I stored them on hard drives, zip locked, and put in a new firesafe! So it will be harder (but not impossible) to lose them. I am so happy.

I have been taking more and more photos using my cell phones. With the iPhone 3Gs I finally also have the ability to take short video clips too! While very rudimentary, I have a ton of photos of my son and wife that I would have otherwise skipped on getting a regular camera.

I pass this everyday and I finally remembered to bring a camera. I hit it exactly at the right time too. I always felt like this place is a sleeping beast when you see the park with no lights or activity. I ended up making this my background on my pc at work.

I have uploaded all of the new photos to Picassa to be viewed under my blog/Gmail account. Also I have uploaded a bunch to york photo so my wife can play around with getting some actually printed out. They appear to have a better price than the local photo developer.

My life is uber busy right now, but my goal for this one is to organize all our photos, scan all the old photos, and store them properly for lifetime. I did a little research and realized that CD/DVD media is not permanent. I still can’t decide whether to just have online and offline dual storage, but either way, I will backup the backups! Now that my wife and I have a boy, photos will be flowing in constantly. Some of the early photos can be found on Picassa.
