See a moose in the wild.

I don’t know why but fall makes me think of moose. So doing a google search for where to find moose brought me to moose alley. I sense a road trip coming on.

I went to Yellowstone National Park in 2001. I saw a moose there, in the wild.

as in the wild, since I live in the forest. And this morning a moose came thumping into my yard as I was enjoying a quiet morning of journal writing and reading.

with just sticks for legs. Looks like a cartoon character.

I saw a few moose on my recent trip to alaska :-)

It was such a peaceful discovery to be walking in Glacier National Park and to just come upon a moose eating. I suppose I should’ve been more cautious than I was.

but then, I grew up in Alaska

My third grade teacher used to backpack alone. Her dream was to see her spirit animal the moose. She accomplished her goal after three months camping alone. I was very close to her. I think that it would be magical for me to see one. I want to be alone when I encounter one too. I hope I can get a picture. In order to accomplish this goal I think I need to travel somewhere where’s moose live. Another reason to go to Alaska. I would also like to mosaic moose antlers (not the ones on somemoose’s head!) I saw someone bead a pair once, and it looks amazing.
