get handfasted

I’m very excited, though we don’t have a date as of yet, but I’m just happy that me and my fiance will finally be getting married.

...but it was just a civil service at the courthouse. I want to do the religious ceremony.

Yes, it’s true! My boyfriend of 2½ years proposed to me. We are getting handfasted on the 21st of june 2007. Which is also the date we met 3 years prior. Yay me!

I had no idea a wedding would be so big. It’s a really huge thing I am trying to organise. And both of us are students, so we don’t have all that many finances, and no, my father isn’t paying.

my mate and I were handfasted in 2001 after 13 years of living together. It was awesome. We got handfasted in our midnight garden at quarter to midnight on a lunar eclipse. It was pretty specatacular. We are renewing our vows again likely this coming summer of 2007 – possibly 2008 depending on time and money:)We had about 60 family and friends there and the Priestess that handfasted us did a wonderful job:) It was an wonderful experience.
