    Little late for this one….....
I moved out of the freaking dorms, and now I love off base. Not exactly a BRAND NEW experience, since I’ve lived in a few apartments before, but still exciting.

Wow, I’m way overdue on this: March has been done for over a week and a half by now. And after letting my mind wander back, I think I can come up with a few new and/or fulfilling things I did in March:
    • I turned 30. New? Yes. Fulfilling? Just turning 30 on one day isn’t going to be fulfilling, it’s the other 364 days that are important.
    • I had a vodka-tasting party. New AND fulfilling: vodka is delicious, and infused vodka is SUPER-delicious.
    • My wife and I took a walk in the park, and on a whim we took a detour over the bridge and into a park we’d never been to before. It was really great: a place we’d discovered together, in the city we’ve lived in (or near) our whole lives. Probably one of the best hours in that week. Definitely new and fulfilling.

I’m sure there are a few other things that could go on this list, but I think those three are acceptable. When I take this goal for the next three months, I think I’ll need to take better notes!

    very fulfilling bc:
    • met with old friends in bangkok. had branch, dinner and late night chat with them.. guys, you are the best..
    • went to swiss and france with my sister with her workmates.. it was wonderful to go back to paris again and visited swiss for the first time..

I completely forgot about this goal! New and fulfilling for March… I saw my daughter roll over from her back to her tummy for the first time. Then, a few weeks later, I saw her roll over from her tummy to her back for the first time. I was sworn in as a government employee. I dropped my daughter off at day care for the first time and yes, that was both new and fulfilling. I ordered something other than banana ice cream at Cold Stone for the first time and it was very fulfilling because it was very very good!

I’m drawing a blank. What did I do that was new and fulfilling? It was a tough month. I am still here. Does that count?

wrap up for march 7 months ago

so i didn’t make it to yoga yet, but i did go to whole foods and bought fakin bacon…i had to try it because the name was awesome. it was actually pretty good. i also got some supplements to try and some new cheeses that were so yummy! but the most important thing i accomplished is that i finally started unpacking the rest of my boxes…from when i moved in six months ago lol. some of these boxes i’ve been carrying around since 2000. it is very fulfilling to finally be doing something with these boxes besides stacking them in a corner and dragging them from apt to apt when i move.

I planned a trip to Stockholm, bought tickets and booked a hostel.
And I met Immanuel Wallerstein and even got to talk with him a bit. Such an old and wise person.
