I only recently realized it’s hindering me that I never learned to type without staring at the keyboard.
I plan to try memorizing the keys and typing without looking at the keys to help me with this goal. I’ll be taking typing tests daily to watch my progress.
I’m starting out at 60wpm

I think that I would need about 30 minutes each day to work on this goal, and once I achieve a typing speed of 100 wpm I would probably want to work on it some more to increase the speed even more so it will probably end up being a goal that I work on consistenly.
I want to be able to keep my work skills while I’m out of the workforce.

I am really glad that I upped my typing abilities. Sure, there are still those moments where you seem to spell everything wrong, but when I explain to people that I can type close to 200 wpm (now anyway), employers who need that skill are impressed. It’s a good skill to have.

I should find a web site with free tutorials, and start practicing.
First, I need to find out what my current typing speed is, and then work on improving it.
