stop nail biting

i have bit my nails my whole life,
how can i stop? any help is welcomed.
i bite through the bitter tasting polish…

My dad for this one, I copied him doing it once when I was 4 and although he has since stopped, I have not :-(

Had a chew of the thumb nail last week when it brok but otherwise have been keeping my nails out of my mouth. Keeping them neat and manicured really helps.

Soped… well I dont bite anymore… I just cut them really short so I dont have to bite. That I would say has been almost a year now. So I guess I passed!

Besides putting nasty gunk on your nails, snapping a rubberband, and wearing artificial nails…does anyone have any other techniques for quitting this terrible habit?

And they are sore too! Must stop this grotty habit.
