Be a great husband

annoyed when my wife complains about her computer.

Sunday we will go to a theatre performance. I was lucky to get the last few tickets after I had failed to obtain them earlier this year.
I am very much looking forward to this.

My wife is with her mother, supporting her at this difficult time. I’m looking after the house & kids.

I got the funeral notice in the paper & all the names spelt correctly! I sent a bouquet to my mother-in-law from all of us (which made her cry – but in a good way).

I asked my wife to choose a recipe from Jamie’s book that I got given for Xmas. She chose Chicken Tikka Masala.

It was very tasty.

It also gave me a better appreciation of the work that goes into cooking a meal.

Make date night once every 2 weeks, be thoughtful at least once every day and help around th house

This one will never be done, I guess you can always improve on things. I know I have plenty of work to do. I am sure if my wife got on here and commented, she would let you know that I have plenty of room to improve…so I should have plenty of help from her alone! haha but I look forward to seeing what and how everyone else does for this one.

Everyday I feel more in love with my wife. I came across a quote that said if the grass looked greener on the other side of the fence, you’re probably not taking good enough care of your own grass.

This struck a chord with me. I make sure my wife knows I love her with my words & actions.

I got home early & cooked dinner.

Chicken breast on pasta with salad.

It was really good & the family loved it :-)

I have a wonderful fiancee. I feel really blessed by God. My goal is to grow as a person so I can be the best husband and father I can be. I try to treat my fiancee Jeanny like my queen.

Jeanny went through with her ex who was emotionally abusive and also unfaithful, so she is really ecstatic with me. Almost anything I do would be better than what she experienced in the past, but I don’t want to let that be enough. I want to exceed her expectations. I want her to know how special she is to me every day. I want to do something every day to show my love. That can be something conventional like flowers or a love note or something less obvious but more profound like controlling my short temper when I am tired and stressed.

My goal is to always be growing as a person and as a partner. I expect to be treated well, (I have never been treated as well as I am now). So of course I have to treat her well and I want to. I am so happy with what I have. It is a joy to give my all to my partner and family.

I helped out more than ususal after realising I’ve been taking my wife for granted lately.

Made dinner (ok, bought it), bought flowers (freesias), & took better care of her.
