How I did it: I just cut out different shapes like hearts and swirly-cues, circles and whatever other shape I could think of. I put those together with some glue and glitter and from there came a card. I also would buy those cute little wooden boxes from Michael's or any other craft store along with some acrylic paint. I would get creative with the boxes. Sometimes putting the cut-out shapes on the boxes. Then you can take some valentine candy and put it into the box. It would probably end up much cheaper than to go out and buy Valentines.
Lessons & tips: Just be as creative as you can. Also be mindful of whom you are making the valentine for. The recipient would be more impressed if you added tidbits that were uniquely him.
Resources: You can go to any craft store for the creative tools and to any drugstore or supermarket or candy on sale.

Despite being married for the next V-day, and having spent two in a relationship, I’ve never celebrated it. It seemed sad when we were states apart. I did send him a message, but next time around, I’m making a romantic dinner, and buying myself flowers!
yea i ended up not doing anything. just cooked dinner when i got home from school at 10 lol.. :( .. i didnt get him anything either just a shirt.

i decorated his room with hearts and balloons one day randomly so that idea cant be done..im thinking of going to michaels and getting stuff there find stuff that relate to us, inside jokes and UNO lol..and glue it all together and see what comes of it.
also make him a nice dinner..

They were pretty cool, but I forgot them at home. I gave a few out though, but I wrote accidently something offensive to the girl I gave it to. I didn’t mean to be mean, but other than that fun. Next year I’ll be more prepared though.
Family and friends were really excited about the cards. They weren’t the slickest cards around, but worth it!
Gathered up supplies (wedding leftovers), a bit of ribbon and some paperclay.
I created a pile of little hearts from paperclay, baked them, and added paint/beads etc.
next, I am adding them to cards.. not sure they will arrive on time!

Bought supplies, with limited money (need to save up…) and I’ll probably take a picture when I’m done. This’ll be fun…
