The only way to be better at ANYTHING is by practice. I got to take a lot of pictures and try to take better pictures than previous ones.

Like everything else in life, excellence in photography takes a lot of work. Taking lot of photographs means going out, exploring places, lots and lots of walking with the gear. Thankfully hubby will do all the driving.

How? 3 months ago

“Be a GREAT photographer” sounds GREAT, but how do I know if I have achieved it? HOW great do I want to be?

So I searched 43things and found some interesting sub-goals that I can put a check against – like sell a photograph, display my photographs in a public place, shoot 5 good photographs a month and so on.

Becoming a photographer 6 months ago

I wouldn’t say I’m a great photographer it, but I have gotten better over time. And because I shoot weddings and events for living that of course has helped me get better. But really, the best way to improve your photography is to shoot pictures on a daily basis. Study and learn how to use a camera, and constantly challenge yourself to think outside the box. In the digital photography age, learning to become a better photographer has gotten a lot easier.

I like photos where you wouldn’t have noticed the beauty of something unless time stopped. I suppose you call them action shots, I’m not sure.

...is about finding your style. I’ve found mine… in generally involves close shots from interesting angles. And whether or not anyone else thinks it’s great, I think it’s good enough.

Me 16 months ago

I am a art student with photography as my major, and it just feels natural for me to have a camera in my hand. I would love to within the next couple of years to start working as a photographer.

The process... 2 years ago

I love the entire photography process, from researching cameras, to choosing the right one, to reading the manual cover-to-cover, to shooting and dreaming and shooting more, to learning, to taking bad pix, to editing and sharing, to being inspired.
