How I did it: i started by bo0kmarking http://twitter.com/wati_ and then eased into the habbit of checkin on it when b0red..
i so0n got a tweetdeck and became interested and involved in the #trending t0pics and also saved the link again on my phone.
& now i mingle. i follow, im followed, its simple, n its awesome!
Lessons & tips: dont follow people who update TOO often...
