have a true best friend

i’ve come to learn that i guess its not about how long a person sticks around because any one, no matter who they are can walk out from you life. i think its about how good they were to you while they were around. not everyone treat you like a real friend should be.

Ok, so while I still don’t have one of those close uber friends that you stick with 24/7, I do have a pretty close friend in a co-worker. We’ve shared secrets that neither of us would normally share with others and we talk in a way that shows that we are true friends.

I would like to be closer than this, and hopefully over time it will happen, but no matter what, I consider this to be a great accomplishment.

I’m also meeting more people as I step outside of my old shells and will have more friends as time goes on.

I have a lot of friends, but none that are really true friends.

When I was a child, I had true friends and then as life went on, people moved, friends changed, and I lost touch with all of them.

Now I don’t seem to have any true friends and it’s sad.
