    In lieu of socializing last night, I opted to read.
    I read from around 12:00am until 3:30am and fell asleep close to 4:00 in the morning.

    Not all that bad considering it was a Friday night.
    For some reason though, I found myself awake less than two hours later at a quarter to 6:00.

    I rolled around hoping to be able to get comfortable enough to drift back to sleep, but to no avail.

    I just don’t get it.
    Some nights I’ll sleep fine.
    Others, I wont sleep at all.
    Others, I’ll sleep through the night, then the following day.
    Others, I wont be able to fall asleep until the sun comes up.
    Et Cetera.
    Et Cetera.
    Et Cetera.

    didn’t get any sleep until around 5:30 AM yesterday.

    Hopefully I can get to sleep before then tonight. (it’s 2:45 AM)

    I gave up on this goal a while ago, because honestly, it’s not as easy as it sounds. I’ve had to deal with a weird form of insomnia for most of, if not all of my life.

    I’d like to see it end, but I’m mainly just re-opening this goal as a reminder to myself to not fall victim to my own routines.

    I don’t see this happening in the foreseeable future.
    I’ve been struggling with sleeping problems, along with anxiety and depression for more than half of my life. I’ve been to doctors, taken medications, and even tried to self medicate at times.

    Once I have health insurance again, I think I might look into speaking with a specialist. Preferably one who isn’t a pill pusher like so many others.

    When I get to that point, I’ll add this back to my list, but being that for the moment, I see no end in sight, I feel as if this goal is only filler on my list.

    I just couldn’t sleep last night.
    I was and am tired. But, no sleep.
    I always have too much on my mind.

    11:30pm to 7:30am last night.

    I woke up a few times, like I always do, but fell back to sleep relatively easily.

    I’ve been extremely depressed for the last 4 or 5 days, so sleeping has been kind of a full time thing. I’ve got to get myself out of this rut.

    I slept all day yesterday. I just couldn’t bring myself to get up.
    Because of this, I was awake all night. I’ve been doing this for the past few days

    I tend to run in a cycle.

    I’ll probably be back on track sometime next week.

    For about a week now, I’ve been sleeping for 3 hours at a time. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

    Normally, I associate my sleep habits with my mood or simply because I can’t stop thinking about things.

    Not lately.

    I don’t know. It’s very strange.

    Regardless of all of that… I’ve been exhausted for 10 years.
