grow a goatee

My first facial hair was a goatee. I wanted one ever since I was little. When I got my first job, I had to shave it. Eventually, I grew it back but became tired of shaving and eventually the goatee turned into a full beard.

Last weekend I finally decided it was time to get the goatee back. I took a pair of clippers, and before I could stop myself, buzzed off the hair on my cheek. After making the first step, the rest came easily. I cut the goatee back in, trimmed it to the proper length, and cleaned myself up with a razor.

Since then, I’ve gotten nothing but compliments about how I look. I realize the goatee isn’t for everyone, but if you think it will fit you, give it a shot. It’s only facial hair. In the worst case, you realize you look stupid and shave it off.

I don’t want a goatee and I can’t quite remember what made me think I did!

I’ve got a nice bit of scruff on my face right now. The only real problem is not being able to make the moustache connect with the beard. The ‘stache is kind of thin too. The beard looks more like a soul patch, which isn’t all bad. I’ve had a few comments about the look though. People seem to like it. I really dig it…

I’d say more, but I’m off to find a mirror. Damn my vanity!

I’ve just given up on my latest attempt and have removed a patchy four-day growth from my face. It didn’t look good. I haven’t given up permanently though – not yet.

I actually have not shaved for a while and grew a full beard. It was scruffy looking for a while and I thought it looked bad, but everyone, even girls, said it looked good and now it is kind of fun having a beard. I will probably shave it before graduation because when my parents see it I can picture my mom not being a big fan.

Although I can’t grow sideburns I still have the ability to grow a goatee. I think it would be funny if next year I have a goatee and then shave it off after a month. Everyone who just met me would be suprised to see me for the first time without facial hair when in fact thier first impression of me was not who I normally am. That makes sense to me and a goatee would be something simple and different to do.

Grew a smallish one, but everyone said it looked silly, so I shaved it. Gotta admit I definetly do look better without it. But hey, it was worth trying just to test. Maybe I just needed to grow a bigger one and get used to it…

Workin on it. Havent shaved the area for about 2 weeks now, cant say it looks too impressive though

I’ve grown it out and to be quite frank….I hated it :/
