Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. Used to be quite cool for the 2-3 months that I actually went to this 83 year old guy at churchgate, who started with “old McDonald Had a Farm”.
He taught the whole thing with numbers, as opposed to notes, with some funda of blowing out on the odd numbered holes and blowing in on the even numbered ones. Soon progressed to the National Anthem, and thanks to my good ear, I picked up Blowing in the Wind on my own.
I purchased a harmonica stand too, so i could play it while my hands were engaged with the guitar. Tried it a few times. Ofcourse, Blowing in the Wind is theonly song I could actually play with the dual arrangement, with my repertoire of harmonica being nowhere to my pretty decent guitar skills.
Hence the goal. Maybe I should search for some online guides. Ofcourse, there is always Furtado’s to visit and purchase a good (and expensive) book.
